The Plague, Flexibility, and Starting Courses!

I've been doing a lot of healing after the stomach bug decided to gracefully take out my entire household. I started taking activated charcoal in order to beat it when Roman got sick. Then the baby got sick and I took one dose and it hit me. LUCKILY I wasn't vomiting, just had a really touchy stomach for a few days.

Since I try to look on the positive side, at least it helped me cleanse all of the crappy food out of my body that I had been eating previously! I lost a whole pound (hey, anything counts right?) and I finally got some energy back so I decided to try out some relaxing yoga.

My flexibility has improved immensely within the past few weeks, and I'm honestly pretty proud of myself for sticking with this. I've done some form of yoga every day for quite a while now. The gym on the other hand, I've been super sucky with. I've gone about once a week instead of the 3 days I had as a goal. But I have been doing a lot of HIIT workouts at home to make up for it. I just really haven't wanted to drive anywhere in this cold, crappy weather!

Aside from the plague and yoga, I'm actually signing up for my doula courses in about an hour! It's finally happening! Like, for real! I could scream but my kids might think I'm insane and also, neighbors. Wish me luck though guys because I'm actually going to start tonight after the kids go to bed!

Hope everyone else had an awesome week last week and continues to have an awesome week this week! I'll post about how school is going at some point.

Until next time, much love!
